DES MOINES LIGHT OF HOPE
In response to the COVID crisis gripping our nation, our Fifth Annual Des Moines Light of Hope event was held online on Friday, July 24, 2020. While there are always technical challenges with doing an event like this for the first time online, we still fulfilled our goal to raise awareness and funds to help give Iowa's abused and neglected children a voice in the decisions that affect their lives - and hope for a safe, permanent and loving home.

QUAD CITIES LIGHT OF HOPE
Like our other events in this strange and challenging year of 2020, the Fourth Annual Quad Cities Light of Hope event was held online on Friday, August 21, 2020.
Virtual guests were moved and inspired by two amazing speakers: Bob Waterman – managing partner at law firm Lane & Waterman, and Doug Cropper – CEO of Genesis Health System. Former SNL star Gary Kroeger returned again as event emcee.

SIOUX CITY LIGHT OF HOPE
The Fourth Annual Sioux City Light of Hope event was held virtually on Friday, October 2, 2020.
Three amazing speakers told their stories: Tom Stock – creative services director at KCAU-TV, Al Aymar – CEO of FiberComm, and Lisa Dodge – former foster youth. Former SNL star Gary Kroeger returned again as event emcee.

The Second Annual Dubuque Light of Hope event was held on Friday, October 9, 2020.
We were so fortunate to have three wonderful speakers willing to tell their stories: Josh Vander Ploeg – assistant Dubuque County Attorney, Joe Kennedy – sheriff of Dubuque County, and Heather Gudenkauf – bestselling author. Former SNL star Gary Kroeger returned again as event emcee.

CEDAR RAPIDS LIGHT OF HOPE
The Fifth Annual Cedar Rapids Light of Hope event was held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
This special event, coinciding with national Giving Tuesday, featured former SNL star Gary Kroeger as the event emcee and three speakers who moved the audience with their stories: Matt Skogman – vice president of sales for Skogman Homes, Molly Baynes – senior manager at Collins Aerospace, and Lisa Stephenson – general counsel for CRST International.
